The Powhatan Farms community is located south of Liberty Road and includes the residences located on Fieldview Court, Fieldview Road, Kelox Road, Norvo Road, Pembroke Avenue (North of Flannery Lane), Redman Road, Retlaw Road and Robin Hill Road (West of Kelox Road).
Powhatan Farms is a covenant controlled community comprised of beautiful single family homes accessible via two main roads, Liberty Road and Kelox Road. The Powhatan Elementary School, Woodlawn Middle School and Woodlawn High School are the nearest schools serving the area. The Powhatan Farms community is serviced by the businesses along Liberty Road in Baltimore County near the Baltimore City line.
Established in the Spring of 1964, the Powhatan Farms Improvement Association (PFIA) is an active community association in Baltimore County's 4th Council District and Maryland's 44B District. The PFIA works to improve the Powhatan Farms community and promote the common good of its residents. It is a nonprofit organization governed by its Board of Directors and Association president.
The PFIA has a general meeting on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM. Annual dues of $20 per household are payable on or before the date of the September meeting.
